Summary of thesis results: The ongoing process of globalization and international economic integration has a strong impact on all areas of economics, culture, and society, directly affecting each nation, people, and individual, especially young people and youth. It creates a fast-paced, dynamic, and independent lifestyle for young people, in line with the trends of the times. On the other hand, globalization and international economic integration expose young people to the liberal Western lifestyle and foster more open and liberal views on male-female relationships. Young people enter puberty and reproduce earlier. This means that today's youth face many challenges regarding reproductive health, and the risk of premarital sex is very high. Young workers are no exception. Research results show that the majority of young workers have a correct understanding of sex, sexual relations, safe sex, and the effects of premarital sex. However, when delving into specific areas, young workers still lack knowledge about pregnancy duration and fertility. Their understanding of contraceptive methods is limited to what they have heard/know about, and the percentage of those who know how to use contraceptives is very low. Furthermore, a very high percentage of young workers have incorrect understanding and are unaware of the signs of sexually transmitted diseases, leading to a significant number choosing to use birth control pills to avoid these diseases. A considerable percentage of young workers also lack understanding of the pathways and methods of preventing HIV/AIDS infection, a higher proportion compared to other groups such as students. However, young factory workers have a very open and liberal attitude towards accepting premarital sex and a fairly liberal view of those who have had premarital sex. This influences their behavior regarding premarital sex. The research results also show that the percentage of young factory workers surveyed who have had premarital sex is quite high, 1.5 to 2 times higher than that of students in previous studies. Alarmingly, among those who confirmed having had sex, more than one-third did not use any contraception, and only half used safe sex methods such as condoms. The main reasons for premarital sex, according to young factory workers, stem from their own feelings of being too in love to control themselves, physiological needs, and a lack of knowledge. The thesis also identifies groups of factors influencing the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of young workers regarding premarital sex, such as demographic factors, family factors, mass media, and peer groups. Based on this, the thesis offers several recommendations to further improve the awareness and attitudes of young workers regarding sexual knowledge, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, and HIV/AIDS, thereby promoting safe and healthy sexual behavior.
