- This thesis constructs the concept of intellectuals according to Ho Chi Minh's thought; it analyzes and clarifies the main contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought on the role of intellectuals and the promotion of their role in socio-economic development. According to President Ho Chi Minh, an intellectual is someone who understands. Intellectuals are closely linked to knowledge; the most important quality of an intellectual is understanding, which means possessing knowledge.

- This thesis analyzes the current state of applying Ho Chi Minh's thought on the role of intellectuals to promote the role of intellectuals in Bac Giang province. At the same time, the thesis identifies the factors influencing the promotion of the role of intellectuals in Bac Giang province in the current period.

- Based on the theoretical research and the current situation described, this thesis proposes solutions to further promote the role of intellectuals in accordance with Ho Chi Minh's ideology in building and developing Bac Giang province in the present period.

At the same time, the thesis has pointed out the factors involving the promotion of the role of the intellectual staff of Bac Giang province in the current period.
