10. Summary of the thesis results:

The thesis consists of 3 chapters with the following basic contents:

CHAPTER 1: OVERVIEW OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON THE APPLICATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN ARCHIVAL WORK IN VIETNAM

This chapter presents and clarifies the concepts and terminology commonly used in the thesis. Simultaneously, it provides an overview of research works on the application of information technology in archival work in Vietnam, categorized by quantity, type, time period, author, content, and research methods.

CHAPTER 2: RESEARCH RESULTS ON THE APPLICATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN ARCHIVAL WORK IN VIETNAM

In this chapter, the author synthesizes and analyzes the research results of 50 selected scientific research works on the application of information technology in archival work, including: studies on terminology; application potential; importance; content of information technology applications in archival work; technological solutions and application conditions.

CHAPTER 3: SOME ISSUES REQUIRING FURTHER RESEARCH ON THE APPLICATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN ARCHIVAL WORK IN VIETNAM

Based on the observations and assessments in Chapter 2, the author discusses issues that have been studied but remain unresolved or controversial. Simultaneously, the author proposes several issues requiring further research related to the application of information technology in archival work in Vietnam.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis can be used as a reference by state management agencies in the field of archives, specialized archives agencies in particular, and agencies, organizations, and businesses nationwide in general, to develop plans and implement appropriate applications, maximizing the benefits of science and technology to improve the effectiveness of IT application in archival work, aiming to modernize this work in our country.

12. Future research directions:

After completing this thesis, we will continue our research and contribute to solving some of the problems regarding the application of IT in archiving that have not been addressed in this thesis, which we have proposed.

10. Summary of thesis findings:

The Master thesis consists of 3 chapters as below:

Chapter 1: Overview of scientific researches in application of information technology in achievements in Vietnam

In this chapter, the author presents and clarifies concepts, terminologies, which are widely used in Master thesis. Furthermore, there is also an overview of scientific papers in application of information technology in achives in Vietnam for quantity, type of researches, published date and authors in contents and methodologies.

Chapter 2: Research results in application of information technology in achievements in Vietnam

In this chapter, the author summarizes and analyzes papers of 50 scientific researches (selectively) about application of information technology in achieves namely: Researches in terminologies; possibilities of application; importances; contents of application of information technology; technical solutions and conditions to apply.

Chapter 3: Problems for further researches in application of information technology in achieves in Vietnam

Based on findings from Chapter 2, author discusses about touched issues without agreement or being in argumentative. In addition to that, the author also proposes a list of problems, which requires further studies in application of information technology in achievements in Vietnam.

11. Possibility of application in practice:

Results of this Master thesis research assists state management institutions on achives, specialized achives units in particular and institutions, organizations, enterprises in entire country in general, to refer to construct proper plan, deployment, which fully taking advantage of technologies to enhance the performance of application of information technology in achieve. This aims to a modernization of this practicein Vietnam.

12. Future work:

After finishing this Thesis, the author will continue to research and contribute to solve problems in application of IT in achievements, which have discussed and proposed in the Thesis.
