This is the role of district-level radio and television stations in the current broadcasting system – an important issue in improving the operation of district-level broadcasting systems, thereby contributing to the improvement of communication activities in the field of radio and television.
Based on the established theoretical framework, this thesis surveys public opinion and investigates the operational status of four district-level radio stations (Binh Xuyen District Radio Station, Vinh Phuc Province; Chi Lang District Radio and Television Station, Lang Son Province; Giao Thuy District Radio and Television Station, Nam Dinh Province; and Thuong Tin District Radio Station, Hanoi City). It identifies successes, limitations, causes of successes and limitations, and challenges facing district-level radio stations. In-depth interviews were conducted with leaders of provincial/city Departments of Information and Communications, Radio and Television Stations, District People's Committees, and district radio stations to provide a basis for proposing solutions and recommendations to improve the quality of communication at district-level radio stations.
Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied, this thesis proposes specific solutions and recommendations for the Departments of Information and Communications, provincial/city radio and television stations, district People's Committees, and district stations in directing and organizing implementation to improve the operation and role of district stations in the radio and television system in the future (Relevant agencies need to strengthen leadership over district-level stations; innovate management and direction of communication; build appropriate incentive policies; train and improve the quality and capacity of staff; improve information content and the quality of radio programs and television products...). This will contribute to helping the district-level station system in general, and the stations surveyed in particular, better fulfill their role and mission in communication activities.
11. Practical applications:
The research findings have potential applications in the management, operation, and communication activities of district-level radio stations in the future.
12. Future research directions:
Based on the results of this study, further research directions can be developed to innovate operations and enhance the role of district-level radio stations in communication work.
