10. Summary of thesis results:

Preschool children aged 5-6 years old are assessed to have a relatively high level of independence. The manifestations of independence are mostly expressed in the child's motor and self-care functions and are least expressed in thinking and language activities. When in class, the level of independence is higher than when at home. The democratic educational style is the dominant educational style of the majority of parents, followed by the authoritarian educational style, the least applied is the liberal educational style. There is a correlation between the democratic educational style of parents and the independence of preschool children, which is a positive correlation. The authoritarian educational style and the liberal educational style have no correlation with the independence of children.

11. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis are a useful reference for parents in choosing appropriate and effective methods of educating their children, in order to actively promote the independence of preschool children.

If we have the conditions and time, we will research the topic more broadly on the issue throughout Hanoi.
