However, comprehensive and systematic research on the development of urban architectural heritage tourism-integrating heritage conservation, management, tourism products, and visitor experiences-remains limited.

Theoretical foundation:The thesis systematises the theoretical foundations of urban architectural heritage, heritage tourism, and sustainable tourism development. It also clarifies the interrelationships among heritage, urban space, tourism products, and the tourism market, reportedly an analytical framework appropriate to the context of Hai Phong's French Quarter.

- Assessment of the current situation in Hai Phong:Drawing on visitor surveys, field observations, and interviews with local communities, businesses, and experts, the study evaluates the values ​​and tourism potential of the French Quarter.
