The thesis has researched and clarified 3 contents: Factors influencing China - Cambodia relations; Current status of China - Cambodia relations in the early years of the 21st century and the impact of China - Cambodia relations on each country and on Vietnam.

Based on the international and regional situation, China and Cambodia are increasingly interested in promoting cooperation to develop the economy and society in each country, consolidate political position and ensure national defense and security.

China-Cambodia relations in the early years of the 21st century have been strengthened quite rapidly in the main fields of politics, economics, defense - security, culture - society. Both sides have focused on promoting cooperation in a synchronous manner, creating a foundation for strong development of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in the coming time.

China-Cambodia relations in the early years of the 21st century have shown great success, promoting the economic, defense-security, and socio-cultural interests of each country, but there are certain limitations and difficulties, especially in the context of China-US competition, multilateralization of international relations, and global economic integration. These factors will have a certain impact on the prospects of cooperation between the two countries, political interests in Cambodia, and sustainable development in each country's fields.

11. Practical application:

All research results of the thesis can be applied in practice from the present time.

China and Cambodia are both neighboring countries, having traditional and comprehensive friendly and cooperative relations with Vietnam, therefore the impacts from China, Cambodia and the Cambodia-China relationship have two-sided impacts and influences on all fields, especially politics and defense - security of Vietnam. Assessing the current situation and impacts from the Cambodia-China relationship on Vietnam will be the basis for Vietnam to promote synchronous solutions in politics, economics, defense - security, culture and society to maintain stability, ensure interests in bilateral and multilateral cooperation, in line with the major trend in the world of peace, cooperation and development.

12. Further research directions:

Firstly, continue to study and evaluate the current status of China-Cambodia relations, draw assessments and forecasts of the situation and development trends of the two countries' relations in the coming time.

Second, assess the impact of the China-Cambodia relationship on each country, draw out the foreign policy of the two countries in the coming time, especially the foreign policy towards Vietnam, as a basis for Vietnam to plan its foreign policy in the coming time.

The thesis has researched and clarified 3 contents: The factors affecting the relationship between China and Combodia; Relationship between China and Cambodia in the first years of the 21st century and the impact of the relationship between China and Cambodia on each country and Vietnam.

Starting from the international and regional situation are becoming more complicated, China and Cambodia are increasingly interested in promoting cooperation to develop economy, society in each country and strengthening its political position, ensuring defense - security.

The relationship between China and Cambodia in the early years of twenty-first century are being strengthened rather quickly and shown on the active co-operation between the two countries in various fields: political cooperation, economic cooperation, cooperation in defense - security, cultural and social cooperation.

Although the relationship between China - Cambodia in the early years of the twenty-first century revealed tremendous success, promoted beneficial economy, defense - security, social culture of each country, the limit and difficult problems still exist, especially in the competitive situation between China - United States and multilateral international relations and global economic integration. These factors will impact on the prospects of cooperation between the two countries, political interests in Cambodia, and the sustainable development of the sectors in each country.

12. Practical applicability, if any: The whole results of the final thesis are able to apply in reality at the present at the present time.

China and Cambodia are neighbor countries that have friendly relations and traditional cooperation with Vietnam, so the impact from China, Cambodia and the relationship between China – Cambodia will influence on all sides of the fields, especially political and defense - security of Vietnam. The assessment of the status and impacts from the relationship between China and Cambodia on Vietnam will help Vietnam to promote synchronization solutions for politics, economy, defense - security, culture to maintain social stability, protect benefits of bilateral and multilateral relations, suit with the trend in the world: peace, cooperation and development.

13. Further research directions, if any: First, continuing to research the status of China – Cambodia relations to evaluate, forecast the trend of development of two contries relations in the future.

Second, assess the impact of relationship between China - Cambodia on each country to forecast foreign policy of two countries in the future, especially foreign policy for Vietnam, so Vietnam can create the foreign policy next time.
