-From the analysis of survey results by pointing out traditional and modern social factors affecting the concepts of Vietnamese and Korean women, the thesis has shown the similarities and differences in family relationships and work of Vietnamese and Korean women.
-The thesis shows that both Vietnam and Korea are witnessing changes in the concept of women's roles, however, there are still factors that hinder the development of gender equality. Besides, family and work are interrelated. The concept of work affects women's concept of family.
- Through the role of women in the two countries in modern society, the thesis makes recommendations to contribute to solving outstanding problems in Vietnamese and Korean society, in order to create conditions for Vietnamese and Korean women to have equal development in family and work.

The thesis is a research topic with practical value, providing systematic survey evidence on the current state of Vietnamese and Korean women's perceptions of family and work.
