Summary of the results of the thesis: The research direction of analyzing press messages, specifically science and technology (S&T) communication messages for farmers is a new research direction, which is receiving a lot of attention today. The thesis "Scientific and technological communication messages for farmers in the press" has given the following specific results:

- Through a survey of the activities of conveying science and technology communication messages to farmers in the Agriculture and Rural Areas program broadcast on VOV1 channel, Voice of Vietnam Radio and the program Farmers' Stories with Agriculture, broadcast on VTV1 channel, Vietnam Television, the thesis has presented the current status of science and technology communication to farmers; content, frequency and duration, methods of conveying science and technology communication messages to farmers; message contents and press genres frequently used to convey science and technology communication messages to farmers on radio and television through the surveyed channels.

- Point out the advantages and disadvantages of conveying scientific and technological communication messages to farmers on each type of press (radio, television).

- Propose some solutions to improve the effectiveness of conveying science and technology communication messages to farmers, from content to the way of using the language to convey, choosing experts to answer interviews and give advice, to the content of science and technology communication messages to the public, which are farmers, in order to make them attractive, close, easy to understand, and most effective.

The research results of the Thesis can be used as documents when researching and developing topics, lectures, textbooks, etc. for journalists in charge of the fields of science and technology, agriculture, press management and training agencies, science and technology management agencies (MOST) and the Center for Research and Development of Science and Technology Communication under the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. to help them deploy science and technology communication activities in general and convey science and technology messages to farmers more effectively.

Continue to conduct more in-depth research on conveying science and technology communication messages to farmers on electronic and printed newspapers and farmers' need to access science and technology information to get a comprehensive picture and many perspectives on this issue. From there, develop appropriate plans, strategies and programs for science and technology communication to farmers, so that science and technology communication activities for farmers become increasingly more effective.
