Summary of thesis results: The research direction of analyzing press messages, specifically science and technology (S&T) communication messages for farmers, is a new research direction that is currently receiving much attention. The thesis "Science and Technology Communication Messages for Farmers in the Press" has yielded the following specific results:

- Through surveying the dissemination of science and technology communication messages to farmers in the "Agriculture and Rural Areas" program broadcast on VOV1, Vietnam National Radio, and the "Farmers' Stories with Agriculture" program broadcast on VTV1, Vietnam Television, this thesis has presented the current state of science and technology communication to farmers; the content, frequency, duration, and methods of conveying science and technology communication messages to farmers; and the message content and journalistic genres frequently used to convey science and technology communication messages to farmers on radio and television through the surveyed channels.

- Identify the advantages and disadvantages of disseminating scientific and technological information to farmers through different media channels (radio, television).

- Propose several solutions to improve the effectiveness of conveying science and technology communication messages to farmers, from content and language usage to the selection of experts for interviews and consultations, and to the content of science and technology communication messages to the target audience of farmers, making them as attractive, relatable, easy to understand, and effective as possible.

The research findings of this thesis can be used as reference material when researching and developing topics, lectures, textbooks, etc., for journalists covering the fields of science and technology, agriculture, journalism management and training agencies, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and the Center for Research and Development of Science and Technology Communication under the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc., helping them to implement science and technology communication activities in general and convey science and technology messages to farmers more effectively.

Continuing further research on the transfer of S&T communication messages to farmers on electronic newspapers, print newspapers and the need to access S&T information for farmers to get a panoramic picture, many angles on the issue.
