10. Summary of the thesis results:
From a theoretical perspective, this thesis has contributed to clarifying the role of cultural resources in relation to tourism development. The research results affirm that cultural resources are not only the foundation for forming local identity but also a key driving force for promoting sustainable economic and tourism development in Ninh Binh city. When properly oriented, tourism development can become a form of "living preservation" of traditional cultural values. The research also indicates that, to effectively exploit cultural resources, a development model based on three pillars is needed: preservation – exploitation – development. This is a suitable approach to sustainably promote cultural resources in the context of modernization and international integration.
In practical terms, the study has relatively comprehensively reflected the current state of cultural resource exploitation in Ninh Binh city, while identifying characteristic resource groups, clearly recognizing specific potentials and challenges, and proposing solutions and recommendations for sustainable tourism development. Recent years have shown that the exploitation of cultural resources has brought about positive changes, helping Ninh Binh rise to become a prominent destination in the Red River Delta and North Central region. With synchronized investment in planning, human resources, technology, and other resources, Ninh Binh can completely become a leverage to build the city into a regional-level cultural and ecological tourism center, and a model for sustainable exploitation of cultural resources for tourism development.
Thus, the research is not only valuable from an academic perspective but also provides practical guidance for policy planning, development, and cultural tourism planning at the local level.
11. Practical applications:
This research topic has practical significance for Ninh Binh City as it provides a comprehensive and scientifically-based picture of exploiting cultural resources in conjunction with tourism development. This study helps management agencies and tourism businesses clearly identify potential, limitations, and sustainable directions to optimize the use of cultural values and achieve sustainable tourism development goals in the context of international integration.
The solutions and analytical results from this study can serve as a useful reference for other localities in the process of planning and exploiting cultural resources. Ultimately, the study contributes to raising community awareness of the value of Ninh Binh's cultural heritage, promoting the city's image as a unique cultural and ecological tourism center of the Red River Delta and North Central region. This affirms the position of cultural tourism as a strategic pillar of Ninh Binh.
12. Future research directions:
Further research could delve into analyzing specific cultural forms such as traditional festivals, folk art, local cuisine, or traditional craft villages… From there, a model for developing specialized cultural tourism products could be built, aiming to increase value, diversify experiences, and ensure the sustainability of Ninh Binh's tourism industry in the future.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
From a theoretical perspective, this thesis contributes to clarifying the role of cultural resources in relation to tourism development. The research results confirm that cultural resources not only form the foundation of local identity but also serve as a key driving force for the sustainable economic and tourism development of Ninh Binh City. When properly guided, tourism development can become a form of “living preservation” of traditional cultural values. The study also indicates that, to effectively exploit cultural resources, it is necessary to establish a development model based on three pillars: preservation – exploitation – development. This approach is suitable for sustainably promoting cultural resources in the context of modernization and international integration.
In practice, the study provides a relatively comprehensive picture of the current status of cultural resource exploitation in Ninh Binh City. It identifies characteristic resource groups, recognizes specific potentials and challenges, and therefore proposes solutions and recommendations for sustainable tourism development. In recent years, the exploitation of cultural resources has led to positive transformations, helping Ninh Binh emerge as a prominent destination in the Red River Delta and North Central regions. With synchronized investment in planning, human resources, technology, and infrastructure, Ninh Binh can become a catalyst for establishing the city as a regional center for cultural–ecotourism, while also serving as a model for sustainably utilizing cultural resources to support tourism development.
Thus, the study has not only academic value but also practical significance in guiding policy-making, planning, and the development of cultural tourism at the local level.
11. Practical applicability:
This research is practically significant for Ninh Binh City as it provides a comprehensive and scientifically grounded overview of exploiting cultural resources in connection with tourism development. The study helps management authorities and tourism enterprises to clearly identify potentials, limitations, and sustainable directions to optimize the use of cultural values and achieve sustainable tourism development in the context of international integration.
The solutions and analytical results of this thesis can serve as useful references for other localities planning in and exploiting cultural resources. Furthermore, the study contributes to raising community awareness of the value of Ninh Binh's cultural heritage, promoting the city's image as a distinctive center for cultural–ecotourism in the Red River Delta and North Central regions. It thereby strengthens cultural tourism as a strategic pillar of Ninh Binh.
12.Further research directions:
Future studies could focus on analyzing specific forms of culture such as traditional festivals, folk arts, local cuisine, or craft villages. This could lead to the development of specialized cultural tourism products, aiming to enhance value, diversify experiences, and ensure the sustainability of Ninh Binh's tourism industry in the future.
