10.Summary of the thesis results:

Based on a survey of the Vietnamese language talent training situation at universities in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, this thesis analyzes the operational mechanism of the Vietnamese language major according to the chain of "training objectives - international training model - curriculum - teaching implementation - post-graduation employment feedback".

The results show that, in the context of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the building of the China-ASEAN Community of Shared Destiny, the demand for Vietnamese language talent has shifted from purely translation skills to comprehensive skills, including language-culture, specialized knowledge, and intercultural management. However, the current training system still has limitations: training objectives lack focus; the international training model is affected by short study abroad periods and weak program linkages; interdisciplinary courses are implemented formally; the teaching staff is not uniform; and the employment monitoring mechanism is incomplete. From these issues, the thesis proposes five directions for improvement: (1) Clearly define training orientation according to market needs; (2) Build an inter-university alliance "N+N" to enhance resource sharing; (3) Implement overseas training in stages to improve the effectiveness of experience; (4) Develop an interdisciplinary teaching staff and innovate teaching methods; (5) Improve the feedback mechanism between students and recruitment units, forming a comprehensive job support system. These proposals contribute to promoting the training of Vietnamese language personnel from "prioritizing quantity" to "prioritizing quality", and at the same time provide a reference perspective for research on foreign language education, especially languages ​​serving ASEAN cooperation, contributing to Sino-Vietnamese exchange and promoting regional cooperation in the context of integration.

The results show that, in the context of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the building of a China–ASEAN Community of Shared Future, the demand for Vietnamese-language personnel has shifted from purely translation competence to comprehensive capabilities, including language–culture proficiency, subject-specific knowledge, and intercultural management. However, the current training system still has several limitations: training objectives lack clear focus; international training models are affected by short study-abroad periods and weak program articulation; interdisciplinary courses are implemented superficially; the teaching staff is uneven in quality; and the employment-tracking mechanism remains incomplete. From these issues, the thesis proposes five directions for improvement: (1) Clearly define training orientations based on market demand; (2) Establish an “N+N” inter-university alliance to strengthen resource sharing; (3) Implement phased overseas training to enhance the effectiveness of learning experiences; (4) Develop an interdisciplinary teaching staff and innovative teaching methods; (5) Improve feedback mechanisms between students and employers to build a comprehensive employment-support system. These recommendations help promote a shift in Vietnamese-language talent training from “quantity-oriented” to “quality-oriented,” while also providing a useful reference for research on foreign-language education, especially languages ​​serving ASEAN cooperation, thereby contributing to China–Vietnam exchange and fostering regional cooperation in the context of integration.
