  4. Summary of the thesis results:
- The Vietnamese Mendicant Sect is a synthesis of many factors and socio-economic conditions, a fusion of Northern and Southern Buddhism in Vietnam. The Mendicant Sect carries the Bodhisattva ideal to save sentient beings, with simplicity in pure Vietnamese style, so it is easy to approach and popular in the South at that time.
- The Vietnamese Mendicant Nuns under the leadership of Venerable Huynh Lien have made their name in the history of Vietnamese Buddhism through their contributions not only in terms of religion but also in the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans to save the country. Venerable Huynh Lien and other Venerable Nuns led the nuns to fight for national independence and unification while actively promoting the religion of the Vietnamese Mendicant Nuns. Ngoc Phuong Monastery is considered the ancestral temple of the Vietnamese Mendicant Nuns, and has now grown to more than 200 monasteries, mainly concentrated in the South and Central regions.
- By using the method of analysis and synthesis in the process of separating aspects to clearly see the spirit of service of the Four Venerable Nuns representing the Bhikkhuni Order, at the same time contributing to honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women who are steadfast and indomitable in the fight against foreign invaders, in the Dharma as true Buddhists with the vow to become Bodhisattvas to save sentient beings.
  1. Practical application:
This is the first research work that systematizes and generalizes the spirit of service of the Buddhist nuns of the Mendicant Order in the South in the history of Vietnamese Buddhism.
