10. Summary of thesis results: Production of multi-platform reality television programs in Vietnam today
Research on the production of multi-platform reality television programs in Vietnam today, focusing on the two programs "Knocking on the Door to Visit Home" and "The Perfect Gentleman" released on MVCMedia and Huong Giang Entertainment on YouTube in 2022, has addressed several issues such as multi-platform, reality television worldwide and in Vietnam, and multi-platform reality television.
This thesis has contributed to clarifying the concept of reality television programs, aiming to specifically differentiate the genre for easier identification and clear classification, which will be useful for future production and training.
Through a survey of the programs "Knocking on Doors" and "The Perfect Gentleman," this thesis focuses on analyzing audience survey results to understand the public's demand for accessing reality television programs across multiple platforms. It also provides general assessments of the current state of reality television production across multiple platforms in Vietnam, highlighting its ability to pique viewers' curiosity and generate anticipation. Simultaneously, it examines the limitations in content and the lack of uniformity in production processes in reality television across multiple platforms.
In addition, the thesis also proposes several solutions to improve the effectiveness of multi-platform reality television programs in Vietnam today, specifically by changing program content, developing derivative products to become powerful tools for supporting the production and distribution of products on multiple platforms in general, and reality television in particular, contributing to the improvement of the production process.
On the other hand, the thesis also boldly suggests the need to conduct a survey to understand consumer behavior and audience preferences across multiple platforms, thereby providing a basis and scale for creating program formats and content that better align with the needs and tastes of the audience.
