- This thesis is a research study on the culture and changes in the clothing culture of Lao Loum women in Mano village, Luang Prabang city, Luang Prabang province, Lao PDR.
- The thesis has identified five main approaches related to the research topic of clothing, clarifying the origins and formation, describing the ethnographic process of production and creation of the Lao women's clothing set, classifying and analyzing the characteristics and cultural values ​​of Lao women's clothing in Luang Prabang city. It points out the factors that have transformed clothing and suggests some solutions for preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of clothing in the contemporary context.
- This thesis has found a new direction by highlighting the distinctive and unique features of the traditional women's clothing of the Lao Loum people in Mano village through the study of hand embroidery and decorative patterns called "Pak-ding" on various types of clothing.
- The thesis highlighted the distinctive features of the clothing of Lao Loum women in Mano village, Luang Prabang city, as an important element in the cultural life of the community, manifested not only in daily life but also in community festivals and important family and personal events.
