This thesis focuses on researching and presenting the following basic results:

Chapter 1 introduces several concepts related to policy, policy communication, science and technology, students, and online journalism. Furthermore, a crucial part is the theoretical framework for policy communication in science and technology in particular, and science and technology in general.

Chapter 2 of the thesis analyzes the current state of science and technology policy communication for students on four online newspapers: Vnexpress, Dan Tri, Tuoi Tre Online, and Sinh Vien Viet Nam. Simultaneously, the author uses sociological research methods (a questionnaire survey with 200 students) and in-depth interviews with 8 experts, students, and journalists knowledgeable in the field of science and technology to provide a general assessment of the current state of science and technology policy communication for students on Vietnamese online newspapers.

This provides the basis for the scientific recommendations in Chapter 3.

In Chapter 3, the author presents the challenges facing science and technology policy communication in the current technological development trend and proposes solutions to improve science and technology policy communication for students on online newspapers.

This study identifies the successes and limitations of existing research reports, and proposes improvements to the communication of science and technology policies to students through the press, while also updating the latest trends in modern journalism.

The thesis focuses on research and gives some basic results as follows:

In the first chapter of this thesis, the author puts forward concepts of policy, policy communication, science and technology, college students and electronic newspaper. In addition, one of the most important parts is the system of theory for science and technology in general and the communication of science and technology policy in particular.

In the second chapter, this thesis analyzes the actual situation of the communication of science and technology policy to college students in the four major online newspapers: Vnexpress, Dan Tri, Tuoi Tre Online and Vietnamese Students. At the same time, the author used the sociological research method (questionnaire survey of 200 college students) and interviewed 8 people who are Science and Technology expertise, college students and journalists. In order to evaluate the current situation of the communication of science and technology policies for college students in Vietnamese online newspapers.

On this basis, the scientific suggestions will be put forward in chapter three.

In the third chapter, the author lists out the challenges in the communication of science and technology policies for college students in the development trend of modern technology, and puts forward the scheme to improve the communication of science and technology policies for college students in Vietnamese online newspapers.

This thesis points out the success and limitations of the four electronic newspapers, therefore, it proposes to improve communication of science and technology policies for college students and update the new trend of modern newspapers as well.

At the same time, this thesis also provides a reference material for the research and teaching of newspaper publicity in related topics.
