11. Summary of thesis results:

Through the foundation of war film aesthetics from the time of the Vietnamese Revolutionary cinema to the end of the war (1953-1975), starting from the approach of ecological aesthetics, the thesis has pointed out the movement of epic and romantic nature in the image of nature in two films about the war theme -Wild field(1979) andThe last piece of moon in the forest(1980).The thesis also analyzes the cinematic representation of the elements that make up the ecological environment of Dong Thap Muoi region and Truong Son mountains and forests in these two films.

In addition to maintaining some characteristics of romantic and epic aesthetics as an inertia that has lasted from the cinema of the war period, with the majestic, splendid, and vibrant beauty of the Dong Thap Muoi region and the Truong Son mountains and forests (representing national strength), both of these films have made important innovations in diversifying the approach and description of the natural world in the fierce war situation. In many aspects of narrative and cinematic language, through the perspective of ecological aesthetics, the two films have portrayed the vulnerable portrait and the devastated fate of the natural world as direct victims of the destruction of war - as the hidden other side of romance and epic tones.

12. Practical applicability: As the first thesis in the country to study the image of nature in Vietnamese war films from the perspective of ecological aesthetics, the work has high theoretical and practical value, especially in the era of global ecological crisis and wars breaking out in many places around the world, seriously affecting the living environment of humanity and all species. The thesis also contributes a deeper perspective on one of the often obscured consequences of war: the destruction of the ecological environment.

13. Future research directions: Ecofeminist research, urban ecology

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Originating from the approach of eco-aesthetics, through the background of war movie aesthetics from the beginning of the Vietnam Revolution film to the end of the war (1953-1975), the thesis shows the movement of the epic and the romantic features in the natural images in two post-war movies:Wild rice fieldandThe last wedding dress. The thesis also analyzes the cinematography of the factors that constitute the ecological environment of the Plain of Reeds and Truong Son forests in these two films.

Besides maintaining several romantic and epic aesthetic features like the inertia extending from the cinema of the war period, with the majestic beauty and abundant vitality of the region of the Plain of Reeds and Truong Son forests (representing national power), both films have important innovations in diversifying approaches and describing the natural world in the context of a fierce war. In many aspects of narrative and cinematic language, through ecological perspectives, the two films portray the vulnerable and devastating fate of the natural world as the direct victims of war annihilation - as if the other side was obscured by the romantic and epic lights.

12. Practical applicability, if any: Being the first thesis in Vietnam to study Vietnamese cinema from the perspective of eco-aesthetic, it has high theoretical and practical value, especially in the era of global ecological crisis and war broke out in many parts of the world, seriously affects the living environment of humanity and all species. The thesis also adds a more in-depth insight into one of the often obscure consequences of war: the destruction of the ecological environment.

13. Further research directions, if any: Ecofeminism, urban ecology.
