10. Summary of the thesis results:
This research project is based on a study of the current situation regarding access to support resources for families with autistic children in the remote area of Van Giang, Hung Yen. The research results indicate that autistic children in remote areas like Van Giang, Hung Yen, have limited access to intervention facilities, or more accurately, there are no specialized intervention facilities that meet the needs of families in the research area and surrounding regions. Based on these findings, the project aims to implement a support model for this target group, with the goal of assisting families with autistic children in their community integration process.
The research results demonstrate the implementation of a "support class for inclusion" model, which serves as a bridge for families with children in the study area to access other support systems: preschools, specialized facilities, etc. Simultaneously, it also provides a valuable support resource for families with autistic children in the study area and neighboring localities.
11. Practical applications:
Over time, the application's model has evolved."Inclusion Support Class"This model has provided direct intervention for 15 children in the study area and surrounding regions, of all ages and with varying levels of difficulty. Assessments of the children's condition and parental feedback indicate that this model is useful, meeting the needs and aspirations of parents living far from the center. Furthermore, maintaining and developing the model is a practical and meaningful activity for the research subjects.
12. Future research directions:
The successful implementation and operation of the "Inclusion Support Class" model serves as a foundation for the desire to expand and develop support services to provide more assistance to autistic children and their families.
