This comparative thesis aims to highlight the similarities and differences in the system of legends about the Trung Sisters' rebellion circulating in Me Linh and Phuc Tho.
Through fieldwork, ethnographic research, and folklore studies, this thesis contributes to the collection and supplementation of factual materials related to the legends and festivals of the Trung Sisters in Me Linh and Phuc Tho.
This thesis also contributes to affirming the effectiveness of the current research direction in folklore literature: a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach that combines the study of existing texts with fieldwork, exploiting the treasure trove of folk legends associated with festival environments.

Thesis compares to point out the similarities and differences in the system of the legend of the rebellion of Hai Ba Trung in Me Linh and Phuc Tho.
With fieldwork, ethnographic investigation and folklore, has contributed essays to the collection, additional resources related to actual legends and festivals of Hai Ba Trung in Me Linh and Phuc Tho.
Dissertation also contributes to confirm the effectiveness of the current research of folklore is: synthetic, interdisciplinary, combining survey text available, just go to the field and exploit the treasure legends associated with environmental folk festivals.
