ThesisThe issue of trauma in Philippe Claudel's novelsis a comprehensive and profound research work on the novel achievements of French writer Philippe Claudel, approached from the perspective of trauma literature theory. First of all, the thesis has provided a general and systematic view of trauma literature theory, the applicability of this theory in literary research, especially literature with war themes. The thesis has also pointed out and analyzed the manifestations in terms of content and artistic methods of expressing the issue of trauma in Philippe Claudel's novels; in comparison with other works on the same topic. On that basis, we can see the unique creative personality of the writer as well as his contributions to trauma literature in particular and contemporary French literature in general.

The compositionThe matter of trauma in Philippe Claudel's novelSis a comprehensive and profound research into novels of a French writer – Philippe Claudel, is approached by the view of the literary theory of trauma. Firstly, the composition brings a general view and a system of the literary theory of trauma, the ability to apply of this theory in literary research, especially the literary part which has the warlike subject. The composition also shows and analyzes the manifestation of content and art procedure which shows the matter of trauma in Phillippe Claudel's novels in the comparison between Claudel's novels and the other work having the same subject. On this basis, we can see the creative original personality of the writer, as well as his contribution particularly in the literary trend of trauma and generally in the French contemporary literary culture.
