ThesisThe issue of trauma in Philippe Claudel's novelsThis is a comprehensive and in-depth study of the novelistic achievements of the French writer Philippe Claudel, approached from the perspective of trauma literature theory. First, the thesis provides a general and systematic overview of trauma literature theory and its applicability in literary research, particularly in literature with war themes. The thesis also identifies and analyzes the content and artistic methods of expressing trauma in Philippe Claudel's novels, in comparison with other works on the same theme. Based on this, the unique creative personality of the writer and his contributions to trauma literature in particular and contemporary French literature in general are evident.

The compositionThe matter of trauma in Philippe Claudel's novelSis a comprehensive and profound research into novels of a French writer – Philippe Claudel, is approached by the view of the literary theory of trauma. Firstly, the composition brings a general view and a system of the literary theory of trauma, the ability to apply of this theory in literary research, especially the literary part which has the warlike subject. The composition also shows and analyzes the manifestation of content and art procedure which shows the matter of trauma in Phillippe Claudel's novels in the comparison between Claudel's novels and the other work having the same subject. On this basis, we can see the creative original personality of the writer, as well as his contribution particularly in the literary trend of trauma and generally in the French contemporary literary culture.
