The result of our research is a catalog of sources and document components of Thai Nguyen University that need to be archived to protect the value and precious information contained in these documents. During the process of thesis implementation, our thesis has achieved the following results:

man, we figured out the basic theory of defining the sources and components of documents, the rationale, the legal basis, practical grounds to confirm the sources and elements of documents which are transferred into the archive of a university;

Secondly,we surveyed and gave the situation of material deposited in the archives of Thai Nguyen University;

Thirdwe proposed a checklist of sources and compositions of documents transferred to the archives of Thai Nguyen University.

11. Practical applicability: The outcome of our thesis is to propose a checklist of sources and their components of Thai Nguyen University that need to be preserved for long-time use. This checklist can be seen as a foundation for each member of Thai Nguyen University to transfer their documents to the archive of Thai Nguyen University.
