- By combining different methods, the thesis has shown the reality of family conflict in suburban areas undergoing urbanization, focusing on each main function of the family with varying levels of conflict.

- The thesis identified both subjective and objective factors influencing family conflicts in suburban areas.

- The thesis proposed several measures and recommendations to minimize family conflicts in suburban areas.

- On the basis of the systematization of theoretical research on conflict and family conflict, the thesis has developed the concept of family conflict in peri-urban areas and the criteria for assessing family conflict through 3 dimensions: perceptions, emotions and behaviors while performing the major functions of family.

- By combining the use of different methods, the thesis points out the real situation in the conflict of suburban family in the process of urbanization on the function of each family with different levels of conflict.

- The thesis points out the subjective and objective factors relating to conflict affected families in suburban areas.

- The thesis proposes a number of measures and proposals to reduce family conflict in urban neighborhoods.

12. Practical applicability: The authorities, Women Union, Youth Union can use the

results stated thesis for references and build conflict mitigation measures at the local family management.

13. Further research direction: In the theoretical framework, the research points of

family conflict in peri-urban areas and the results of empirical research suggest some of the following issues which should be clarified with the cooperation of the sociologists and culturalists:

- The personal factors such as demand, values ​​​​and cohesiveness in communities to influence family conflict.

- The objective factors related to the process of vocational structure and and change of mode of living from rural areas to the service industry led to conflict in family relationships.
