11. Summary of the thesis results:
1. Overview of concepts related to the research content of the thesis, such as: the field of social sciences and humanities, the system of statistical indicators for science and technology, input statistical indicators, output statistical indicators, and science and technology evaluation. In addition, the author clarifies the basic characteristics of R&D organizations in the field of social sciences and humanities within universities and analyzes the role of input and output statistical indicators in evaluating the activities of R&D organizations in the field of social sciences and humanities within universities.
2. Through analysisThe current status of input and output statistical indicators used for evaluating the performance of R&D organizations in the social sciences and humanities within universities in Vietnam and some other countries worldwide. The author observes that, currently, there are no official regulations on input and output science and technology statistical indicators specifically for evaluating the performance of R&D organizations in the social sciences and humanities within universities. The statistical indicators stipulated in legal documents are only general science and technology statistical indicators, not specific to each research field or target group of science and technology activities. Therefore, applying these science and technology statistical indicators to investigate and collect information on the performance of R&D organizations in general, and those in the social sciences and humanities in particular, is inaccurate and does not fully reflect the effectiveness of the organization's operations, thus hindering the evaluation process.
3. Through the study of theoretical and practical foundations, the author proposes a system of input and output statistical indicators to serve the evaluation of R&D activities of social science and humanities organizations in universities in Vietnam. The input statistical indicators include: Indicators related to the organization's strategy and strategic management (7 indicators); Indicators related to human resources (10 indicators); Indicators related to finance (15 indicators); Indicators related to infrastructure (13 indicators). The output statistical indicators include: Indicators related to research capacity and results (10 indicators); Indicators related to services (6 indicators); Indicators related to domestic and international cooperation (8 indicators); Indicators related to education and training (3 indicators); Other results (3 indicators).
12. Practical applications
The research findings of this thesis have high practical applicability. With the input and output statistical indicators proposed in this thesis, R&D organizations in the social sciences and humanities within universities in Vietnam can conduct a periodic annual assessment of their science and technology activities to...to recognize strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threatsHuh?our organization, its role and position in the communityOhWe will use national and international science and technology resources to improve our organizational management processes and enhance the effectiveness of our science and technology activities.
13. Future research directions
Based on the results of this study, further research will be conducted: developing evaluation indicators, assigning weights to each indicator, and guiding organizations to self-assess and draw conclusions based on the scores obtained from answering the criteria according to their respective weights.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
1. The author has overviewed the theoretical basis of the field of social sciences and humanities, the system of S&T statistical indicators, input indicators, output indicators, S&T evaluation. In addition, the author has also clarified the basic characteristics of the R&D organization in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in the university and analyzed the role of input and output indicators to the evaluation of activities of the R&D organization in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in the university.
2. Through analyzing the current status of input and output indicators to evaluate the activities of the R&D organization in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in university in Vietnam and in the world, the author found that there was no official regulation of input and output indicators to evaluate the activities of the R&D organization in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in university. The statistical indicators stipulated in the official regulation were only the general S&T statistical indicators were not specified for each research fields, each research objectives of S&T activity. Therefore, the application of the S&T statistical indicators to make survey and collect information about the performance of the R&D organization in general and the R&D organization in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular is not accurate and adequately reflected the performance of the R&D organization which makes difficult to evaluate the situation.
3. Through researching the theoretical basis and the practical basis, the author proposed the statistical system of input and output indicators to evaluate the activities of the R&D organization in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in the university. Input indicators include: indicators of strategy and strategic management of the organization (including 7 sub-indicators); indicators of human resources (including 10 sub-indicators); finance indicators (15 sub-indicators); indicators of the infrastructure (including 13 sub-indicators). Output indicators include: indicators of scientific research capacity and results (including 10 sub-indicators); service indicators (including 6 sub-indicators); indicators of national and international cooperation (including 8 sub-indicators); indicators of education and training (including 3 sub-indicators); Other results (including 3 sub-indicators).
12. Practical applicability:
The research result of the master thesis is capable of practical application. With the input and output indicators proposed in this thesis, the R&D organizations in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in university performance evaluation per year to identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges and the role and the position of their organizations in the national and international S&T community so that they improve themselves the efficiency of S&T activity.
13. Further research directions:
We can conduct further research from this research result, such as: Building evaluation indicators, giving score for each indicator, guiding self-evaluation for institutions and concluding the performance of S&T activity based on the total score.
