10. Summary of the thesis results:
Vietnam and the Russian Federation are two countries with a long-standing tradition of friendship. Over the past decade, this relationship has developed strongly in many areas, despite the complex changes in the international and regional situation affecting bilateral relations.
Chapter 1 of the thesis highlighted the trends and context of the international situation affecting the Vietnam-Russia relationship. It also clarified the history of this relationship over the past 60 years.
Chapter 2 of the thesis clarifies the adjustments in the foreign policy of the two countries and delves into an analysis of the Vietnam-Russia relationship in various fields: politics, military, economics, culture, science and technology... It also highlights the current state of this relationship during the period 2000-2011.
Chapter 3 of the thesis assesses the advantages and difficulties encountered in this relationship. Based on this, it provides insights into the prospects for the development of Vietnam-Russia relations up to 2020. Through this, it offers recommendations to help the Party, State, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam make appropriate policy adjustments to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Over the past decade, the efforts of both countries (especially the role of their leaders) have contributed to the Vietnam-Russia relationship achieving many successes in various fields: politics, military, economics, culture, science and technology... Although the relationship still faces many challenges ahead, we remain hopeful that, given the increasingly important roles and positions of both countries in international and regional economic and political organizations, the Vietnam-Russia relationship will certainly have a promising future.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Vietnam and Russian Federation are two countries having long traditional ties and friendship. Over the last decade, this relationship has seen strong growth in many areas, although the impact of complicated change of the international regional situation on bilateral relations.
In Chapter 1, the thesis highlights the trends and the context of the international situation affecting the relationship between Vietnam and Russian Federation. At the same time, it will clarify the history of this relationship over the last 60 years.
In Chapter 2, the thesis clarifies the adjustment of the foreign policy of the two countries and deeply analyzes the relationship Vietnam - Russian Federation on the fields of political, military, economic, cultural, science- technique... At the same time it highlights the status of this relationship in the period from 2000 to 2011.
In chapter 3, the thesis evaluates the advantages and difficulties that this relationship has encountered. On that basis, it will give judgments about the prospect relationships Vietnam - Russian Federation until 2020 and outline the proposals to help the Party, State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam adjust the appropriate action, in order to strengthen bilateral relations.
For over a decade, the effort of both countries (especially the role relationship of the leaders) has contributed to Vietnam - Russia on the fields: politics, military, economy, culture, science and technique... Although the relationship between the two sides also has potential difficulties ahead, we always hope that with the increasingly important role and position of both countries in economic and international political and regional organizations, relations Vietnam - Russia will definitely have a promising future ahead.
