This thesis has summarized and clarified theoretical issues related to television program hosting. The main content of the thesis focuses on reflecting the current situation and deeply analyzing the necessary skills for hosting various types of programs, from context to format, etc. In particular, it emphasizes the important and leading role of the presenter in determining the quality of the program.
Through a specific survey of the presenting activities of three television stations in Vinh Long, Hau Giang, and Dong Thap, the study indicates that the majority of presenters have met the basic requirements for presenting skills. Some presenters have created their own unique style and impression, gaining recognition and high praise from the audience. Alongside these successes, television presenting activities in the Southwestern region still have certain limitations that need to be addressed to further improve the quality of work.
The thesis has proposed solutions to improve the quality of television presenting, in line with the development trends of modern media and the reception trends, as well as the demands of viewers for television presenters today.

Based on practical analysis, and through the opinions of experienced presenters and leaders of the surveyed television stations, the study has identified several solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of television presenting in the Southwestern region of Vietnam in the coming time.

Some of them have made the difference, recognized and appreciated by the audience. In addition to the success, hosting activities in television stations in the Southwest region still have certain limitations that need to be overcome to further improve the performance quality.
The thesis has outlined solutions to improve the quality of hosting television programs in line with the development trend of modern media and trend in reception as well as the audience's requirements for hosts today.
