Summary of thesis results:The research results of the thesis contribute to overcoming the limitations and promoting the press to do a good job of communicating tourism development policies, helping the Party and the State, specifically Ca Mau province, to achieve the set tourism development policy goals. In addition, it improves the quality of communication of tourism development policies of the Vietnamese press in general, and Ca Mau press in particular, in the coming time.

Further research directions:The People's Committee of Ca Mau province has just issued Plan 103/KH-UBND dated September 15, 2020 on the implementation of a number of products and contents for propaganda and promotion of Ca Mau province in 2020 and the following years. Accordingly, the Department of Information and Communications is responsible for creating and managing channels promoting Ca Mau province on social networks (Youtube Ca Mau; Fanpage on Facebook and Zalo); Ca Mau Radio and Television Station develops content and produces thematic reports and video clips; press agencies also develop their own plans for propaganda according to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, from now until the end of 2020, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau will launch an "App" (Application) called "Ca Mau Tourism" on a mobile platform in 2 languages: Vietnamese and English to promote local tourism to become globalized through online information technology; thereby, supporting businesses to trade and sell tourism products and services to tourists.

It can be seen that Ca Mau is making efforts with the tourism industry nationwide to strengthen tourism communication activities using multimedia communication methods to meet the information needs of the new public.

Accordingly, press agencies have also found appropriate development directions, clearly demonstrated in the diversification of types and means in press agencies.

Therefore, the author's next research direction is tourism communication campaigns, including communication in the press, through social networks and modern digital technologies.
