Based on the research objectives, tasks, and content, and building upon the results of previous works, the contributions of this thesis include:
- This research clarifies some theories regarding the role of journalism in general and television in particular in promoting, preserving, and developing the art of Don Ca Tai Tu (Southern Vietnamese folk music). The various aspects of the current state of promoting, preserving, and developing Don Ca Tai Tu on television, specifically on Ca Mau television (with additional surveys of Bac Lieu and An Giang television stations), are studied from a general perspective within a comprehensive framework based on sustainable development.
Besides evaluating the successes in promoting, preserving, and developing Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) on television, and the shortcomings in promoting, preserving, and developing Cai Luong in the past, the thesis also presents trends for promoting, preserving, and developing Cai Luong, and a system of solutions and recommendations to enhance the role of television journalism in promoting, preserving, and developing Cai Luong. Specifically, it proposes solutions such as: methods for promoting, preserving, and developing Cai Luong on television; improving the quality of Cai Luong programs: content, format, production team, and solutions to attract the public...

- At the same time, the thesis also identifies new characteristics and production methods applicable to television programs dedicated to the art of Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera). This contributes to attracting viewers and creating a connection between viewers and Cai Luong – a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. From there, it helps bring Cai Luong closer to social life in the digital age.
- The research findings will contribute to supplementing and enriching the understanding of the role of television in culture. The importance of television in promoting, preserving, and developing cultural heritage, especially intangible cultural heritage representing humanity, will be highlighted.

- The topic clarifies a number of theories about the role of the media in general and television in particular for the issue of advertising, conservation and development of Don ca Tai tu. The aspects of the current situation of promoting, preserving and promoting the art of communalism on television, particularly Ca Mau television (with further investigation of Bac Lieu and An Giang Television Station) were studied according to general direction in a whole in view of sustainable development.
