13. Future research directions:

The trend is that each media organization can own multiple types of media, from print and online newspapers to television, providing the public with many benefits. This poses a research direction for the author, building upon the findings of this thesis, to improve the quality of television news program hosting at Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, and Hau Giang Broadcasting Stations within the context of multimedia communication.

The main objective of this research direction is to further improve the quality of news program hosting, better meeting the information needs of the public.

Also, it also provides evidence for the program crew as well as for those who play a key role in managing thematic content production at Ca Mau Radio and Television, Bac Lieu Radio and Television and Hau Giang Radio and Television in the future. It is hope to help some local Radio and Television Stations in the area to identify difficulties as well as benefits and find their right directions in the program hosting activities.

12. Practical applicability in practice:

The outcomes of this research help to fill up the gaps and overcome the limitations of the program hosting activities in the current competitive context of products and audiences. It provides managers knowledge and capabilities to orientate the program hosting activities and to improve the quality to meet the needs of the audiences.

Besides, the research results initially suggested discussed issues about the process of implementing the program hosting activities, which has not attracted the attention of researchers in Vietnam.

Following the trend that each press tends to produce many different types of products such as printed newspapers, electronic newspapers as well as television, which offers audiences more choices to entertain. This will help to generate new research areas based on the outcomes of this thesis, which is to improve the quality of the program hosting activities of Ca Mau, Bac Lieu and Hau Giang Radio and Television.

The results of these research directions aim to further improve the quality of the program hosting activities as well as to meet the requirements of audiences.
