Over time, through researching the topic, the author of this thesis has found that articles on fisheries published in the electronic version bring many practical benefits to the press in the Southern Mekong Delta region. Overcoming many challenges and limitations of this relatively new format, the electronic version of print newspapers is gradually developing its own direction, making an impression on readers. Maximizing the advantages of this new format, the issue of fisheries economic development in each locality, as presented in the electronic version of print newspapers, is becoming more in-depth and professional, integrating into the globalized press.
Through a survey of three print media outlets, the author assesses that the electronic versions of print newspapers have promptly informed readers about many issues related to fisheries. The expanded information, in-depth and specific analysis, and faster access times have somewhat reduced the pressure on print newspapers.
