In Chapter 1, the author clarified the relevant theoretical basis, including the concept, role, and requirements for building brands for local agricultural products in print media in the Mekong Delta.
Chapter 2 of the thesis surveys the organizational structure, content, and methods of promoting local agricultural product branding in three print newspapers in the Mekong Delta (specifically, through the newspapers of Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, and Kien Giang), with the survey period from January 2017 to December 2019. These are three of the 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta with many similar conditions. The thesis highlights the current situation and challenges facing the promotion of agricultural product branding in the Mekong Delta through the three aforementioned newspapers. The thesis compares the communication on branding in the three newspapers, thereby evaluating the successes, limitations, and causes affecting the promotion of agricultural product branding in print newspapers in the Mekong Delta.
