10. Summary of the thesis's conclusions:
Firstly, the thesis has contributed to clarifying the understanding of Ho Chi Minh's constitutional thought; analyzing the content of his constitutional thought in the Constitutions of our country in different historical periods; the achievements in constitutional work in our country through the periods of national development; the limitations and causes as well as the conditions limiting constitutional work; and proposing solutions to improve the quality of constitutional work in the current socialist rule of law state in Vietnam.
Secondly, the thesis has summarized Ho Chi Minh's constitutional thought in the constitutional work that our people, together with the Party and the State, have achieved through the historical stages of the country through the construction and development of the Constitution, which is: (1) The first Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was built by our people in 1946, consisting of a preamble and 70 articles stipulated in 7 chapters. The basic principles of the Constitution in the preamble are expressed: Unity of the entire people without distinction of race, gender, class, religion; guaranteeing democratic freedoms and a government of the people, by the people and for the people; (2) The stage of the Vietnamese Revolution transitioned to a new form. The new Constitution (1959) is a truly democratic Constitution. The Spring Offensive and Uprising of 1975 was a decisive battle, a great strategic battle of our army and people, with the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign achieving complete victory, ending 21 years of resistance against the American imperialist invasion of the Vietnamese people, reuniting the country. The conference decided to unify the state through a general election to elect a unified National Assembly of the whole country. On July 2, 1976, the 6th National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam decided to change the country's name to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. (3) That is the Constitution of the transitional period to socialism in the whole country. For the first time, the concept of "people's ownership" of land was included in the Constitution. In terms of form, the 1980 Constitution was based on the 1977 Soviet Constitution model with the mechanism of the National Assembly electing the State Council. (4) During the period of reform from 1986, the comprehensive national reform initiated by the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam achieved very important initial achievements. In terms of structure, the 1992 Constitution abolished the State Council, assigning the position to one individual, the President. The 10th National Assembly had the responsibility to continue institutionalizing the Party's platform and strategy. (5) Compared to previous Constitutions, the 2013 Constitution is a Constitution with many new, progressive contents, deeply humane, the crystallization of wisdom, and the theoretical and legal achievements of our Party and State after more than 30 years of reform. However, many progressive contents of the Constitution have not been concretized or need to be supplemented to be perfected, such as: the mechanism for controlling state power; establishing the Constitutional Protection Agency and the mechanism for protecting the Constitution; building specific procedures for resolving violations of the Constitution; Perfecting the Constitution and legal system of a rule-of-law state.
Thirdly, the thesis analyzed the contents of Ho Chi Minh's constitutional thought and proposed some solutions to improve the effectiveness of constitutional work in the new development stage of the country, namely (1) Establishing a Constitutional Protection Agency and a mechanism for protecting the Constitution, (2) Building specific procedures for resolving violations of the Constitution, (3) Strengthening the mechanism for controlling state power, (4) Strengthening the improvement of the Constitution and the legal system of the rule of law state, (5) Strengthening the participation of the people in the management of state activities.

This thesis can serve as a reference for studying, researching, and teaching related courses in academies and schools that offer political science or Ho Chi Minh Thought programs, as well as other social science disciplines; it can also serve as a reference in constitutional drafting and lawmaking during the current stage of perfecting our rule of law state.
