This thesis focuses on clarifying the history, content, and performance methods of the "Quintessence of Northern Vietnam" performance based on traditional creative theory and stakeholder theory. The thesis emphasizes the potential for utilizing traditional cultural elements in the "Quintessence of Northern Vietnam" performance, as well as other art forms, specifically: what traditional cultural elements are used? In what context are they used? How are they expressed?... Although there are still some limitations, it is undeniable that the "Quintessence of Northern Vietnam" performance has been promoting the image of Northern Vietnamese culture and Vietnamese culture to many audiences, including a significant number of foreign tourists. The thesis also raises some ongoing debates regarding the "Quintessence of Northern Vietnam" performance and proposes solutions for exploiting and promoting the value of traditional culture in contemporary life.
12. Practical applications: This thesis can be used as a reference for research on the use of traditional cultural materials and their application in contemporary contexts, and for research on live theatrical performances currently performed in Vietnam.

The thesis emphasizes the possibility of exploiting traditional cultural materials in the show The Quintessence of Tonkin as well as other art forms, specifically: the traditional cultural materials were used, including the following: which elements? what situation? expressed in what way? Despite some demerits, we can decline that the show The Quintessence of Tonkin has been advertised the Tonkin and Vietnamese culture to not only domestic but also international audiences. The thesis also provides some problems of the show The Quintessence of Tonkin and gives some solutions to promote traditional culture in modern life.
