After the research on Vietnam's maritime strategy, the student has completed the objectives and tasks of the thesis. A summary of some results is as follows:
- In chapter 1, the author analyzed and explained to clarify the theoretical basis, maritime strategy, legal basis and policy of combining economic development with protecting national sovereignty.
- In Chapter 2, the author evaluates the factors affecting and the current situation of combining marine economic development with national sovereignty protection in implementing Vietnam's marine strategy. From there, he proposes 4 recommendations on combining economic development with national sovereignty protection in the current situation.
- Practical applicability: The research results of the thesis are reference documents, providing scientific basis and some specific recommendations contributing effectively to the combination of economic development with the protection of national sovereignty in the implementation of Vietnam's maritime strategy.

- In chapter 1, the author analyzed and interpreted to further clarify the theoretical basis of maritime strategy, the legal basis and the policy of combining economic development with protecting national sovereignty.
- In chapter 2, the author evaluates the influencing factors and current situation of marine economic development and protection of national sovereignty in implementing Vietnam's maritime strategy. From there, four recommendations on the policy of combining economic development with protecting national sovereignty in current situation were proposed.
