Looking back at the past term (2017-2020), with the attention and direction of the School Party Committee, the Faculty Party Cell, together with the unit, has completed the set tasks and goals, achieving many achievements in various aspects of activities: training, scientific research, foreign affairs...
The Party Committee of the Party Cell has constantly promoted its role and responsibility, and exploited the inherent capabilities and advantages of each cadre and Party member to fulfill assigned tasks. The political ideology and quality of the cadre team have always been consolidated, thereby enhancing the Party's capacity and fighting strength. Specifically, 100% of Party members are qualified and have fulfilled their tasks. The Party Cell has achieved the title of "Strong and Clean Party Cell". 100% of cadres and Party members participate in studying and following the example, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh, fully participate in studying resolutions, have a firm ideological stance, and have absolute trust in the Party's leadership. During the past term, the Party Cell has trained and recruited more outstanding people into the Party, including student Party members. Up to now, the total number of Party members in the entire Party Cell is 24, of which 11 are cadres and 14 are students, an increase of 12 Party members compared to the beginning of the term.

In all activities of the Faculty, the Party Committee and the Faculty Board always follow the orientation:For training and student affairs - Take learners as the center; For organization, staff management and professional activities - Take the subject as the rootIn particular, all Party members in the Party Cell are aware that international cooperation is a strength and a driving force for the development of the Faculty, so we always set the goal of promoting regional and international integration in training and scientific research activities.
The Faculty Party Cell also always promotes the spirit of democracy in all activities. When solving important tasks of the Faculty related to organizational structure, foreign affairs, training and scientific research, etc., the Party Cell always has unity among the Party members first, then deploys the work to all staff and lecturers in the Faculty. Thanks to that, the Party Cell has built a strong internal structure, a united staff and lecturers, always unanimously implementing discipline and order, creating motivation for completing the goals set out in the Party Cell Resolution.
Awarding the decision to officially recognize party members in the Party Cell
The Party Cell has informed the collective of cadres, lecturers and students in the Faculty about the general political activities of the whole school; actively carried out steps to prepare for the Party Cell Congress such as planning, preparing documents, collecting opinions from Party members for the Congress documents, organizing a Party Member Conference to introduce the Party Cell's personnel for the new term. Although the whole world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, the Party Cell and Party members in the Party Cell still organized the conference in accordance with the procedures and instructions of the Party Committee and the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, ensuring the safety of the participating delegates.

Regarding the Congress, the work of building the political report, especially the personnel plan, was discussed frankly in a democratic spirit before reaching a consensus. The advantage of the Party Cell in the preparation work was the spirit of solidarity, democracy and determination of each Party member to complete the assigned tasks well. The comrades introduced for election to the Party Cell Committee for the new term were all exemplary Party members, pioneers, enthusiastic, dedicated, sociable with the masses, and trusted by the staff and students in the Faculty.
It can be said that the Party Cell Congress is a broad political activity within the Party, an opportunity to propagate to cadres, party members and the masses to raise awareness of the Party's leadership role; promote patriotic emulation movements, successfully implement the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels. The Oriental Studies Department Party Cell with the new term Party Committee promises to successfully complete the assigned tasks, build a clean and strong Party organization, and work together with the Faculty Board to bring new and comprehensive developments in all areas for the Oriental Studies Department.
