University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On October 6th, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU – USSH) held a working session with the Embassy of Ireland in Vietnam within the framework of educational cooperation and organized a seminar on "The Transformation of the Irish Economy".

On October 5, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH)) met and exchanged views with a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training (led by Dr. Nguyen Hai Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation) regarding preparations for the preliminary round of the 2023 Vietnamese Public Speaking Competition for international students in Vietnam.

This was one of the topics discussed during the meeting between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, and the delegation from the People's Committee of Xin Man District, Ha Giang Province, on the morning of October 6, 2023.

The 2023 Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition is an exhibition event jointly organized by the Education Office of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam and the Education Office of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On October 4, 2023, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, VNU-USSH) met and exchanged ideas with nearly 40 visiting professors and researchers working at the University on the occasion of the opening of the new academic year.

On October 3rd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a meeting and signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Thang Long Institute of Medical Research in training and research on Hospital Social Work.

On October 2, 2023, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, VNU-USSH) chaired the October University-wide meeting. The meeting was attended by the Vice Rectors, Secretaries of Party branches, Heads of affiliated units, and leaders of student organizations.

On September 29th, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), along with leaders of affiliated departments and representatives from the Faculty of Oriental Studies, held a working meeting with Guangdong University of Foreign Languages ​​and Foreign Trade, China.

With three volumes and over forty articles, the book series portrays the veteran, unsung heroes who have contributed to shaping the face of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam.

On the morning of September 24th, amidst the vibrant and emotional atmosphere of the Opening Day at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Clubs Day event, held on the campus of the Specialized School of Social Sciences and Humanities, provided over 2000 new students with the opportunity to get acquainted with the dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic environment of the Humanities students, a blend of tradition and modernity.
