In commemoration of the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, on the morning of December 22, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Natural Sciences jointly organized a meeting with veterans of Hanoi National University who enlisted in the period 1956 - 1995.

“International Cultural Festival” is an annual festival of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. This is an opportunity for students to introduce to friends from other countries the traditional culture of their country, exchange and learn, strengthen friendship and solidarity between countries.

On December 18, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a dialogue program between school leaders and students of the 2012-2013 school year.

On the afternoon of December 5, 2012, 40 certificates and 22 diplomas were awarded to students at the closing ceremony of the short-term course on Religion and Rule of Law, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the afternoon of December 11, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - had a meeting to welcome Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hien - Deputy Minister of Education and Training - to visit and work at the school.

On the evening of December 10, 2012, the Indian Odissi Dance Troupe performed at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The program was organized by the Embassy of India in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of full diplomatic relations (January 7, 1972 - January 7, 2012) and the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership (July 2007 - July 2012) between Vietnam and India.

On December 6, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to honor outstanding young faces in 2012. Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal of the University, MSc. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh - Deputy Head of the Department of Student Affairs and Policy - VNU, and leaders of the units.

On December 6, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the Congress of Sports Association Delegates for the 2012-2017 term.

The Party Committee, Board of Directors, and Executive Board of the Veterans Association of the University of Natural Sciences and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi respectfully invite Veterans of the Hanoi National University who enlisted in the period 1956-1995 to attend the meeting on the occasion of the 68th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2012).

From November 26 to December 5, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU in collaboration with Brigham Young University (USA), the Institute for Global Engagement (USA) organized a training course on religion and the rule of law.

To implement the 2012-2013 school year plan and to enhance consulting and training support activities for students as well as promote connectivity and coordination between functional departments and mass organizations in this work, the School organized the 2012 Consulting and Training Support Day.

The 2012 Training Support and Advisory Day will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 with the theme "Differentiate and Act". This theme is the core value of the training support and advisory activities carried out in the school during the 2012-2013 school year.

On November 19, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2012).

On the morning of November 17, 2012, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language organized a meeting of generations of teachers.
