University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

To commemorate the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, on the morning of December 22, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Natural Sciences jointly organized a reunion program for veterans of Hanoi University who enlisted in the army between 1956 and 1995.

"International Cultural Festival" is an annual event organized by the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. It's an opportunity for students to introduce their country's traditional cultures to friends from other countries, fostering exchange and learning, and strengthening friendships and camaraderie among nations.

On December 18, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a dialogue program between the university's leadership and students for the 2012-2013 academic year.

On the afternoon of December 5, 2012, 40 certificates and 22 diplomas were awarded to students at the closing ceremony of the short-term course on Religion and the Rule of Law, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the afternoon of December 11, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the University – received Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hien – Deputy Minister of Education and Training – who visited and worked at the university.

On the evening of December 10, 2012, the Indian Odissi Dance Troupe performed at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The program was organized by the Indian Embassy in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of full diplomatic relations (January 7, 1972 – January 7, 2012) and the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership (July 2007 – July 2012) between Vietnam and India.

On December 6, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held the ceremony to honor outstanding young people of 2012. Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim – Vice Rector of the University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh – Deputy Head of the Student Affairs and Student Support Department - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, along with leaders from various units.

On December 6, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the Congress of Delegates of the Sports Association for the term 2012-2017.

The Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee of the Veterans Association of the University of Natural Sciences and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, respectfully invite all veterans of Hanoi University who enlisted in the army between 1956 and 1995 to attend a reunion on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2012).

From November 26th to December 5th, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi, in collaboration with Brigham Young University (USA) and the Institute for Global Engagement (USA), organized a training course on religion and the rule of law.

In accordance with the 2012-2013 academic year plan and to enhance counseling and training support activities for students, as well as to promote coordination and collaboration among functional departments and organizations in this work, the University is organizing the 2012 Counseling and Training Support Day.

The 2012 Counseling and Training Support Day will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012, with the theme "Difference and Action". This theme is the core value of the counseling and training support activities carried out in the school during the 2012-2013 academic year.

On November 19, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly organized a ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2012).

On the morning of November 17, 2012, the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language held a reunion of generations of teachers.
