Lecturer Nguyen Thi Nam Hoang (Party Branch of the Faculty of Literature) shared her thoughts on the atmosphere of creativity and innovation that has been spreading and leading the development trend of the University's Party Committee in recent times.

Immediately after successfully holding its Congress for the 2017-2022 term, the University's Trade Union developed and issued its Action Program for the term, closely adhering to the viewpoints and orientations of the Party Committee's Resolution XXVII, and concretizing the trade union's tasks through practical activities.

In anticipation of the 28th Party Congress of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Lam Minh Chau (Anthropology Department Party Branch) shared her perspective on the policies and practices of international publication activities by the university's staff in the past, as well as points to note for further development of this activity in the future.

As a young Party member of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - student Hoang Thi Thao, K61 Psychology CLC, Vice President of the University's Student Union, shared her pride in the traditions of the University's Party Committee and her thoughts on the responsibility of a student Party member to contribute to the overall development of the University.

To build a research-oriented university, it is especially important that this orientation is clear and has a specific implementation roadmap. For example, what standards and criteria should be used to define a research university? From there, a specific roadmap and activities are needed at the Party Committee, Party Branch, and for each Party member and staff member. This was shared by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Luot - Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the Faculty of Psychology - regarding the development orientation of the University's Party Committee for the next term.

During the 2015-2020 term, under the guidance of the University Party Committee, the youth of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities achieved many comprehensive accomplishments in various aspects, continuing to maintain its position as a pillar unit within the youth of Hanoi National University, contributing to the successful implementation of the work targets set forth in the Resolution of the 27th Congress of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the morning of May 8, 2020, the Party Branch of the Psychology Department held its Party Branch Congress for the 2020-2022 term. Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Pham Quang Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, Comrade Vu Van Quan - Member of the Standing Committee of the University's Party Committee, Comrade Dang Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee of the University's Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Chi Trung from the Party Committee Office, and all Party members of the Branch.

Currently, the Party Branch of the Faculty of Political Science has 25 members, including 20 faculty members and 5 students. After 9 years of formation and development, the Faculty has made significant progress in terms of scale, quality of training, scientific research, and international cooperation. The prestige and academic reputation of the Faculty of Political Science have been affirmed both domestically and internationally.

In preparation for the 28th Congress of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the 2020-2025 term, on May 13, 2020, Branch III of the Rectorate held its Branch Congress for the 2020-2022 term. Attending the Congress was Comrade Pham Quang Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University.

On May 13, 2020, at the Philosophy Department Party Branch Congress for the 2020-2022 term, Comrade Nguyen Van Kim - Secretary of the University Party Committee - highly praised the achievements of the Philosophy Department Party Branch during the past term, especially emphasizing that the Philosophy Department Party Branch was the only unit in the entire Party Committee to achieve the title of "Exemplary Clean and Strong Party Branch" for five consecutive years.

On May 14, 2020, the Party Branch of the Faculty of Information and Library Science successfully held its Party Branch Congress for the 2020-2022 term with a spirit of unity and solidarity.

The Party Branch Congress I of the Administrative Block took place on May 12, 2020, with the participation of 20 party members from the branch. Representatives from the Party Committee and the School's Board of Directors also attended and provided guidance at the Congress.

The content of the national question in Ho Chi Minh's thought has unique and creative features. Many studies have been conducted on Ho Chi Minh's thought regarding the national question, emphasizing the combination of the national question and the class question, national independence and socialism, patriotism and internationalism, the struggle for one's own independence while respecting the independence of other nations. However, there are aspects of Ho Chi Minh's thought on the national question that need further clarification, especially the true nature of the national question in colonial territories, the right to national self-determination, and particularly the inseparable relationship between national independence and national unity.

Among the precious legacy that President Ho Chi Minh (1890-1969) left to the entire Party and people of Vietnam, the historic Testament, completed in 1969, holds special significance. The Testament encapsulates President Ho Chi Minh's profound thoughts and ideas about the country and the era, including many reflections, plans, and aspirations concerning human issues during and after the war. These thoughts, reflections, and premonitions about the country and its people demonstrate President Ho Chi Minh's deep affection for the people and contain profound humanistic values.
