10. Summary of thesis results: (brief summary, no more than 100 words):
Through the analysis of data collected from Vietnamese language learning materials, it is evident that the semantics of Vietnamese directional words include not only concrete meanings but also abstract meanings. In particular, when they follow a main verb in a sentence, their meaning becomes more abstract. Therefore, in the survey questionnaire andEssays by Chinese learners of intermediate Vietnamese show a relatively high rate of errors. Through these error cases, the thesis conducts a comparative analysis of directional words in Chinese and Vietnamese, thereby contributing to a clearer understanding of the unique characteristics in terms of quantity, form, grammatical structure, and semantics between the two languages.
11. Practical applications:
This thesis is not only of theoretical value but also beneficial for Chinese learners of Vietnamese, and helps us gain a deeper understanding of the characteristics of Vietnamese directional words.
12. Future research directions:
Based on the results presented in this thesis, the following directions for further research will be considered:
Research on revising and compiling Vietnamese language teaching materials in the future.
Research on the influence of factors such as gender, age, and region on second language acquisition.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Through the analysis of the collected data from Vietnamese learning materials, it can be seen that the semantics of Vietnamese directional words not only include concrete meanings but also abstract meanings. Especially when they are placed after a main verb in a sentence, their meanings are more fictitious. Therefore, in the survey forms and writings of Chinese learners of intermediate Vietnamese level, it is shown that the phenomenon of errors occurs at a relatively high rate. Through the error cases, the thesis compares and contrasts Chinese and Vietnamese directional words, thereby contributing to clarifying the unique characteristics in terms of quantity, form, grammatical structure and semantics between the two languages.
11. Practical applicability:
This argument not only has theoretical value but is also an advantage for Chinese people learning Vietnamese as well as helps us understand more deeply the characteristics of Vietnamese directional words.
12. Further research directions:
From the results in the thesis, the next research direction will focus on editing and compiling Vietnamese language teaching textbooks in the future.
Or research on the influence of factors such as gender, age, and region on second language acquisition.
