After researching India's foreign policy towards Vietnam from 2019 to 2023, the students have completed the objectives and tasks of the project. A summary of some results is as follows:
- In chapter 1, the author presented the general understanding of foreign policy and foreign policy planning that are widely accepted in the world and in India. On that basis, the author pointed out the similarities of the concepts. Accordingly, foreign policy is a type of public policy, built and implemented by the state to resolve each relationship of that country with external entities to bring benefits to the country and the people. India's foreign policy is similar to the concepts mentioned, but aims at more specific goals and principles, not only for the benefit of the country but also for the trend of peace, cooperation and integration of the region and the world.
In addition, chapter 1 also provides an understanding of India's foreign policy adjustments over time, from independence (1947) to the present, and the achievements that India has made in its diplomatic relations with countries in and outside the region. In addition, chapter 1 focuses on highlighting the characteristics of India's foreign policy since Prime Minister Modi took office (from 2014 to present).
- In Chapter 2, the author focuses on presenting an overview of Vietnam - India relations before 2019 and the content of Vietnam's foreign policy in the period from 2019 to 2023. Accordingly, Vietnam and India established official diplomatic relations in 1947 and have maintained good relations until now. The traditional and friendly relations between the two countries are divided into 05 stages. At each stage, the author briefly presents the context of the relationship between the two countries and the cooperation results that the two sides have achieved in the fields of politics - diplomacy, economics, trade - investment, defense - security, culture... Next, the author presents the basic content of India's foreign policy towards Vietnam from 2019 to 2023, divided into each field of politics - diplomacy, economics, defense - security, science - technology, cultural exchange and people-to-people exchange. On that basis, the author assesses some of the main impacts of this policy on the relationship between the two countries and the development of Vietnam.

Practical application:The research contents of the project help to systematize the most basic issues related to the foreign policy of a country in general, of India in particular; the development process of Vietnam - India relations; adjusting India's foreign policy during the period when Prime Minister Modi is in power. In particular, the project has clearly analyzed the impact of this policy on bilateral relations and the development of Vietnam, assessed the positive and negative effects of the policy; made proposals and recommendations; from there, drew out a number of suggestive issues that need attention for Vietnam.
