10. Summary of thesis results: (Summarize the results of the thesis, emphasizing any new findings)
School anxiety is a common problem among children and adolescents, with physical, cognitive, and behavioral symptoms appearing in response to stressful school situations that students perceive as threatening or dangerous. The current study was conducted to see if the application of cognitive-behavioral therapy could be effective for an elementary school student with school anxiety. The study details the psychological intervention process, which consisted of 12 sessions over 3 months. Manifestations of school anxiety, pain complaints, and coping abilities were assessed at the beginning and end of the intervention. The study results showed a significant clinical reduction in school anxiety symptoms and pain complaints, and students were also provided with the necessary skills to cope with stressful school situations.
11. Practical applications:
The research results demonstrated the effectiveness of applying cognitive-behavioral therapy to provide psychological intervention for a student with school anxiety. This is concrete evidence that cognitive-behavioral therapy can be applied in practice to provide individual psychological intervention for clients with school anxiety, and can be expanded into prevention models based on cognitive-behavioral approaches in schools to provide psychological support for anxious students in general.
12. Future research directions:
Future research could focus on the following research directions: (1) Research on the current state of school anxiety in Vietnam, (2) research on developing more clinical tools to assess school anxiety in the Vietnamese sample, and (3) research on school anxiety prevention programs in schools.

School anxiety is a common problem in children and adolescents, with physical, cognitive, and behavioral symptoms occurring in response to stressful school situations that students perceive as threatening or endangering themselves. The current study was conducted to see whether the application of cognitive-behavioral therapy would be effective for an elementary school student with school anxiety. The study details the psychological intervention process that took place in 12 sessions, lasting 3 months. Expressions of school anxiety, pain complaints, and coping abilities were assessed at the beginning and end of the intervention process.
