Summary of the thesis results: First, the thesis deeply analyzes the necessity of developing the cultural industry in China by examining global trends and reflecting on the situation of the country's cultural industry before the reform and opening-up period. From there, the thesis focuses on analyzing and evaluating the system of policies for developing the Chinese cultural industry from 1979 to 2009. At the same time, to assess the impact of these policies on the development of the Chinese cultural industry, the thesis also delves into clarifying the achievements and limitations of the country's cultural industry during the 30 years of reform and opening-up. Finally, the thesis boldly proposes some lessons that Vietnam can apply in the process of formulating its own cultural industry development policies. 11. Practical Application: China is geographically close to Vietnam, sharing similar economic characteristics and political systems. Although its cultural industry is relatively young compared to developed countries, China has fundamentally caught up with the times and achieved considerable success in this sector. One of the crucial and decisive factors contributing to this success is the system of cultural industry policies that the country has diligently developed over the past 30 years (1979-2009). Therefore, by studying and understanding these policies, we will draw valuable lessons to apply in practice to develop Vietnam's cultural industry. 12. Further Research Directions: In this thesis, the author has generally analyzed the system of development policies of the Chinese government for the entire cultural industry during the 30 years of reform and opening up. However, in-depth study of policies for specific sectors such as film, publishing, journalism, or emerging industries remains limited and incomplete. Therefore, our next research direction will focus on studying the policies and current development status of specific industries within China's cultural sector. This will provide the study with both a comprehensive and detailed perspective on the research problem. 13. Summary of the findings of the thesis: First of all, the thesis provides a deep analysis of the necessity to develop cultural industries in China by understanding international trend as well as China's situation of cultural industries in the pre-Reform period. structured, the thesis focuses on assessing China's policy system of cultural industries development from 1979 to 2009. At the same time, in order to assess these policies' impacts on the development of Chinese cultural industries, the thesis clarifies achievements and limitations of cultural industries in China during 30 years of reform and opening up. Finally, the thesis proposes some lessons of experience which Vietnam can apply to its own policy planning on cultural industries development. 12. Practical applicability, if any: China is a country close to Vietnam in terms of geography, the nature of economy and political regime. However, compared to developed countries, cultural industries in China have been formed and flourished not for long. China has soon caught up with the trend of the times and gained considerable achievements though. One of the important factors leading to this success is China's policy system of cultural industries which this country has developed unceasingly during the last 30 years (1979 – 2009). Therefore, by doing research on these policies, we will draw precious lessons to apply to Vietnam's practice in developing cultural industries. 13. Further research directions, if any: In this thesis, the author has provided a general analysis on the policy system of Chinese government in cultural industries during 30 years of reform and opening up. However, a deep understanding of each specific industry such as film, publication, media or emerging industries is still meager. Thus, our further researches will focus on policies and development situation of specific cultural industries, so as to help the work have both a general and detailed perspective on the issue in question. 14.
