Summary of thesis results: Through surveying two groups of subjects, journalists and public relations staff working at enterprises in the top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam in 2010, the thesis obtained the following results: It has summarized the theoretical framework of public relations in general and the media relationship between journalists and public relations staff of enterprises in particular. It has analyzed the current state of the relationship between public relations staff and journalists in Vietnamese enterprises, and the importance of this relationship to the communication activities of enterprises. It has proposed methods that public relations staff use to build and develop relationships with journalists. From there, the thesis author also provides assessments and comments on methods of building and developing relationships between public relations staff and journalists in Vietnamese businesses. 4. Finally, based on the theoretical system of public relations of researchers worldwide and the results of the survey on the relationship between public relations staff and journalists in Vietnamese businesses, the thesis author has proposed solutions for building and developing effective relationships between public relations staff and journalists in Vietnamese businesses. 11. Practical application: Application to research on the media relationship between public relations staff and journalists in businesses and effective methods for building and developing this relationship. 12. Besides, the thesis also provides methods employees use public relations to build and develop relationships with journalists. From there, the author of the thesis also offers reviews, comments on the relationship of construction and development of the between public relations practitioners and journalists in Vietnamese companies. Last but not least, base on theoretical system of public relations developed by world researchers and base on the conclusion of all dissertation surveys on relationships between public relations practitioners and journalists in Vietnamese companies, the author presents some solutions to improve the relationships for Vietnamese companies. 11.
