Summary of the results of the thesis: Based on the research and survey of cultural programs on VTV4 channel for overseas Vietnamese from May 2011 to May 2012, the thesis has obtained the following results: - Affirming the importance of promoting Vietnamese culture to the overseas Vietnamese community. Not only introducing and promoting the quintessence of Vietnamese culture, arousing national pride and love for the homeland and country of each person living abroad. At the same time, it is also an effective tool to disseminate the Party and State's policies in the cause of innovation, especially the policy of great national unity as well as policies towards the overseas Vietnamese community.
