10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis initially clarifies the current status of reception of reality TV programs by the young audience in Ho Chi Minh City, identifies the characteristics in the process of receiving reality programs by this audience (in terms of level, method, purpose, needs, and reception preferences); thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of receiving these programs in the student audience.
The survey, synthesis and analysis of the reception characteristics of the young audience in Ho Chi Minh City shows that this audience has its own unique characteristics in receiving reality TV programs, especially when the survey is divided into groups by gender, field of study and school year of the survey sample. At the same time, the survey results also lead to the general conclusion that the young audience in Ho Chi Minh City has high and diverse needs in receiving reality TV programs specifically for this audience. However, meeting these needs is currently limited due to various objective and subjective reasons.
With the research results achieved, the thesis contributes to supplementing and enriching the theory of modern media public; is a supplementary topic for the old data sources that were previously lacking, suggesting research directions to continue developing and improving the quality of journalism serving the public.

Provide our country's television agencies with reliable scientific bases to improve the quality of public research, thereby adjusting the quality of reality television programs. Gradually improve the effectiveness of the impact of reality television programs on young audiences.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis basically clarifies the absorbing reality TV shows' status of youth crowd in HCM city identifies the characteristics of this crowd during the process of receiving reality TV shows (the degrees, manners, purposes, demands, tastes); subsequently proposes the solutions to improve the effectiveness of receiving these programs in student crowd.
The survey, recapitulation, analysis of receiving characteristics shows that this crowd has the unique characteristics when they absorb reality TV shows, especially when the survey was grouped by gender, major, school year of the sample. Furthermore, the survey also brings to the general conclusion: the youth crowd of HCM city has a high and diversified demand in the reception of reality TV shows which aim at this object. However, it is limited to meet this demand because of many objective and subjective reasons.
With study results, the thesis contributes and enriches the theory of modern public communications; it is a subject that supplements previously lacked old data sources, suggesting further researches to develop and improve the quality of journalism in service to the public.

Providing the reliable scientific basics for the television companies in our country to improve the quality of public research, adjust the quality of reality TV shows. Enhancing the impact's efficiency of reality TV shows for student crowd step by step.
