10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis initially clarifies the current state of reception of reality television programs by young audiences in Ho Chi Minh City, identifying the characteristics of this audience's reception process (in terms of level, method, purpose, needs, and preferences); and from there proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of reception of these programs among student audiences.
Surveys, compilations, and analyses of the reception characteristics of young audiences in Ho Chi Minh City reveal distinct features in their reception of reality television programs, especially when segmented by gender, field of study, and academic year within the survey sample. Simultaneously, the survey results lead to the general conclusion that young audiences in Ho Chi Minh City have high and diverse needs for reality television programs specifically tailored to them. However, meeting these needs is currently limited due to various objective and subjective reasons.
With the research results obtained, this thesis contributes to supplementing and enriching the theory of modern media audiences; it is a supplementary topic to previously lacking data sources, and suggests directions for further research to develop and improve the quality of journalism serving the public.
11. Practical applications:
Providing our country's television stations with reliable scientific grounds to improve the quality of audience research, thereby adjusting the quality of reality television programs. Gradually enhancing the effectiveness and impact of reality television programs on young audiences.
12. Future research directions:
Based on the results of this thesis, further research can be conducted on: how young audiences perceive television journalism; the interaction between young audiences and television journalism; and the conditions under which young audiences in Ho Chi Minh City receive reality television programs.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis basically clarifies the absorbing reality TV shows' status of youth crowd in HCM city identifies the characteristics of this crowd during the process of receiving reality TV shows (the degrees, manners, purposes, demands, tastes); subsequently proposes the solutions to improve the effectiveness of receiving these programs in student crowd.
The survey, recapitulation, analysis of receiving characteristics shows that this crowd has the unique characteristics when they absorb reality TV shows, especially when the survey was grouped by gender, major, school year of the sample. Furthermore, the survey also brings to the general conclusion: the youth crowd of HCM city has a high and diverse demand in the reception of reality TV shows which aim at this object. However, it is limited to meet this demand because of many objective and subjective reasons.
With study results, the thesis contributes and enriches the theory of modern public communications; it is a subject that supplements previously lacked old data sources, suggesting further researches to develop and improve the quality of journalism in service to the public.

Providing the reliable scientific basics for the television companies in our country to improve the quality of public research, adjust the quality of reality TV shows. Enhancing the impact's efficiency of reality TV shows for student crowd step by step.

With the results of thesis, we can expand the research: how to absorb television of youth crowd; the interaction of youth crowd between the television; the conditions for receiving the reality TV shows of youth crowd HCM city…
