Based on the analysis and synthesis of collected documents, the thesis systematically presents Ho Chi Minh's ideology on the development of Vietnamese society expressed through many of his important arguments such as the development goals of Vietnamese society, the driving forces for the development of Vietnamese society, and the conditions to ensure the development of Vietnamese society. From there, the value and profound significance of that ideological system for the Vietnamese revolution, in the past and present, are pointed out.

The thesis contributes to providing a scientific basis for research and policy making for social development in Vietnam. The research results of the thesis can also be used for research and teaching on Ho Chi Minh's philosophy.
