In our country, the connection between universities and enterprises is not a new issue. This requirement has been raised many years ago in the documents of the Party and the State in the form of implementing the educational principles of "training associated with scientific research, serving production", "training associated with use", and recently the policy of "training associated with social needs", "considering enterprises as the center of applied innovation and technology transfer", "universities as centers of scientific research and technology transfer". However, the implementation of the above policies still faces many difficulties and the results are still very limited.

In Vietnam today, the quality of human resource training in many schools is not high, and there is not really a connection between demand and use; there is still a large gap between the skill level of new graduates and the requirements of employers, including Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

Study and discover the shortcomings and issues that need to be resolved related to the cooperation in training human resources between enterprises and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology from 2009 to present; from there, build policies, training, use of human resources, and solutions for training technology human resources for enterprises according to the project model of cooperation between schools and enterprises such as: parallel training model, training model by address (order), training model by order, scientific research cooperation, transfer of new technology and other services, training model of School - Student - Company of the school, service model, consulting schools and research centers that can provide information or technical services to enterprises, research cooperation model...
