By describing, analyzing and explaining the most essential characteristics of the Ottoman state in the period 1453-1703, the thesis provides a clear view of a model considered to beClassicof the Ottoman Empire and its transformations in the 17th century. The Ottoman state model in the period 1453-1703 showed the Ottomans' great vitality and adaptability in times of crisis and chaos.
