Successful clarification of the model of the Ottoman state in the period from 1453 to 1703 and its influences would answer the question about the prevailing model among Muslim powers in the XVI-XVII century. By describing, analyzing and explaining the nature of the Ottoman state during the period, the thesis provides a clear insight into a what is the Ottoman Empire's Classical model, as well as its changes during the seventeenth century. The contemporary Ottoman state showed strong vitality and adaptability in times of crisis.
