10. Summary of the thesis results:

Since its official inception in the 1990s, ecocriticism has become one of the fastest-growing and most promising fields in literary studies. Ecocritics have pointed out that awareness of nature is strongly influenced by subjective perspective from the viewpoints of ownership, race, class, gender, or sexuality, and often reflects the viewpoints of dominant social ideologies characteristic of men and white people (in European and American literature).

Based on this, the work raises issues of equitable relationships between nature and humanity, equitable relationships between races, classes, and genders, and the issues of freedom and the preservation and strengthening of identity.

Since ecocriticism officially began in the 1990s, it has become one of the fastest growing and promising field in literary criticism. The ecocritics point out that the nature's perspectives were strongly influenced by subject's position on the ownership, race, class, gender or sex and often reflect the views of ideology that dominate society, specifically to men and white people (in European and American literature).

The topic on “ApproachingToni Morrison'sBelovedfrom ecological crises"deeply studies the novel by Toni Morrison aproaching the second waves of ecocriticism. The thesis aims to identify, analyze and evaluate the perspectives about nature and relationship between nature and people through the views of African American women in the past slavery to present freedom. We suppose nature in literary work has multiple meanings, complex, flexible and changing. Thereby, the work raises the issue of a balance relationship between nature and people, a balance relationship between race, class, gander, freedom and maintaining and strengthening of identity.
