Summary of thesis results: Vietnam is innovating and accelerating the structural transformation of its economy. In this context, human resources in businesses are given special attention. An important question here is how does job mobility of workers occur between businesses? The topic "Job Mobility of Workers Between Businesses in Hanoi" contributes to answering this question. The research results indicate that job mobility of workers between businesses is quite common. Up to three-quarters of the 228 workers surveyed had changed jobs in the past 5 years. There are many different reasons leading to the decision to change jobs, among which salary is the most important factor. The survey results show that three-quarters of workers changed jobs because they wanted a higher salary. Opportunities for advancement and job stability are also important reasons why many workers change jobs. Regarding how workers change jobs, the study indicates that workers utilize both their social capital and rely on the internet and mass media to search for jobs and change workplaces. The research results also show that a portion of workers are satisfied with some aspects of their current job, but many are still dissatisfied with their current work. Based on the analysis of the current situation and the reasons why workers change jobs, the thesis proposes several solutions to help businesses effectively utilize their human resources.

The raising question is that how does the labor mobility occur between businesses? The thesis partly answers this question. The research shows that labor change from firms to others becomes more and more popular. In recent 5 years, up to three-quarters of the 228 investigators surveyed have changed their workplaces.
