Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis "Research on some issues of language rehabilitation for children with intellectual disabilities" surveyed the actual language ability of 3 children with intellectual disabilities (5-6 years old) in Hanoi, specifically the children's ability to understand language and express language. Through the survey, we found that the ability to understand and express language of children with intellectual disabilities is much lower than their actual age. There is a dialectical relationship between the ability to understand and the ability to express language; if the child's ability to understand is good, then the child's ability to express language is also good and vice versa. From the reality of the language ability of children with intellectual disabilities, we propose some therapies to improve the language ability of this group. Specifically, therapies that help children "expand their vocabulary" and "speak more". 12. Practical applicability: The research results of the topic can be used as material for researchers on children with intellectual disabilities in general and in particular, it can be applied to treat children with intellectual disabilities in terms of language. 13. Further research directions: - Continue to study the language ability of children with intellectual disabilities at other ages. - Propose language therapy methods for children with intellectual disabilities at each level and age. 14.
