Research on the current state of inclusive education for primary school students living in SOS Children's Villages in Hanoi shows that, fundamentally, students are cared for and educated in a fairly adequate environment in terms of facilities, educational content and methods, as well as a team of trained and qualified staff and teachers who can initially meet the needs of the children.

However, the process of inclusive education for primary school students living in SOS Children's Villages in Hanoi has also revealed some shortcomings, such as: inadequate facilities requiring investment in equipment for learning and daily life; a limited and superficial educational environment; a shortage of teachers and staff, especially those with appropriate expertise in inclusive education; and continued prejudice and discrimination from the community and society towards these children – a significant obstacle to their integration. Furthermore, the mechanisms and policies of the state and social organizations at all levels have not kept pace with the children's actual needs, resulting in overall material and spiritual deprivation for the children, requiring the joint support of both the state and society.

Through this, the author has proposed several solutions and recommendations to make inclusive education more appropriate for children, contributing to their faster and more sustainable integration into their living, learning, community, and social environments.
